Gmunk's 3d-rendering geometric art series
My name is Bradley G Monkowintz. I'm a graphic designer and design director living in San Francisco, California. As a graphic designer, I'm always drawn to geometric shapes. that's something that has always resonated with me. I love geo. I love gems. I also have a fascination with psychodelic art. I like repeating patterns. I like kind of infinite tunnels. And so the geo series is kind of a personal project of just exploring things that I love, really. exploring the combination of geometry, psychedelica and op art into like large format print pieces. And, I love working in 3D, I love working in Maya. I like, love rendered techniques and rendered layers and, and experimenting with that, so it was just playtime. (MUSIC) So I came on the scene in 2000. And that was when, like, the, the flash web boom was going on. And then got into heavily into motion graphics in 2003, 2004. But, at a conference, I, I met Joe Kosinski who's a, who at the time was a commercial director.
